British Abney is more than an author-she is a storyteller with a testimony. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and raised in California, her early years were shaped by transition, identity, and growth. But it was her move to Atlanta, Georgia at a young age where life shifted-and where the real battles began.
What looked like a new beginning became the place where struggles deepened, wounds formed, and silent battles took root. It was in those years-caught between adolescence and womanhood-that pain, confusion, and unseen demons tried to define her story. But instead of breaking her, those moments became the very foundation of her voice.
